IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES WITH STAMPED CONCRETE.

Stamped concrete is a great way to beautify your pool deck, driveway, entryway or patio, making it the perfect outdoor paving choice. Price is another factor driving the popularity of stamped concrete. The cost of stamped or imprinted concrete is often considerably lower than the materials/stone it is replicating without giving up that natural and authentic look.

STAYING LOCAL WITH KALI CONCRETE

When you work with our team at Kali Concrete, you can rest assured knowing that we are the ones who will be working with you from start to finish. We handle everything internally and will never outsource your project to subcontractors.

OUR PROCESS

Our team at Kali Concrete is here to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect when you work with us.

PHONE CONSULTATION

We want to hear all about your project from the general size and application, to the ideal style you had in mind. Once we have a good idea as to what you have in mind, we can give you some suggestions as to how we can effectively achieve that result. During this time we can also give you a rough estimate as to how much this will likely cost based on the information provided. If everything sounds good and we are the right fit for the job, we will schedule an in-person consultation.

IN-PERSON CONSULTATION

The main purpose of our in-person consultations is to give you a chance to meet us, while we discuss the finer details of the project. During this meeting we will provide color and style samples, collect specific measurements, and put together an exact quote for the project. Once approved, we will schedule a date to start construction.

CONSTRUCTION

Before we break ground, we will confirm your color and style choices, along with answering any question you may have. Once everything is confirmed, we will get started. Our construction process will consist of preparing the surface, laying rebar, pouring the concrete, applying your selected stamped pattern or textured skin, then applying the sealant.

WALK-THROUGH

After we have completed construction, we will do a final walk through with you to ensure we have exceeded your expectations. Once we relay any necessary warranty information that applies to your project, you can start enjoying your new space.

CONCRETE DESIGNED
TO IMPRESS.

Kali Concrete offers a wide variety of pattern and color choices allowing you to customize. Because of concrete’s superior durability and weather resistance, colored and stamped concrete is the perfect choice to bring that high-end look of stone, brick, or wood to patios, pool decks, driveways, walkways and more.

TEXTURE SKINS

Textured concrete skins offer unique large format textures for concrete surfaces with substantial variability throughout the pattern. Unlike stamped concrete patterns, textured skins don’t include joins in the pattern which requires the joints to be made separately. Textured skins are generally best for those looking for a lower profile texture and style for their concrete surface. With a wide variety of realistic slate options to choose from, you can expect a stunning finish that resembles large slabs of natural stone.

STAMPED PATTERNS

Stamped concrete offers a uniform textured style resembling cobblestone, brick, and even wood surfaces. Available in a wide variety of color options and styles, you can create stunning surfaces comparable to high end pavers with complex patterns at half of the cost. If you’re looking for intricate patterns with unique stone or paver textures, then stamped concrete is the right choice for you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MUCH DOES STAMPED CONCRETE COST?

The total cost of each project highly depends on the size, application, and style of the concrete. While stamped concrete is more expensive than your traditional grey concrete, it offers an appealing and cost effective alternative to natural stone or styled pavers.

HOW LONG DOES STAMPED CONCRETE LAST?

Minnesota weather is tough on any surface exposed to the elements. Despite this, stamped concrete is expected to last 20+ years with the right maintenance. Some homeowners are even able to extend that to 30, even 40 years (again, with the right maintenance.

HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN STAMPED CONCRETE?

Stamped concrete is a popular alternative to pavers or natural stone because of its weather resistance and expected lifespan. Most stamped concrete surfaces are estimated to last 20+ years with the right upkeep.

Maintaining your stamped concrete is fairly easy. Simply sweep the space and clean off any excess debris to prevent any buildup in the cracks (the more buildup that accumulates, the harder it is to clean out later).

To maximize the life of your stamped concrete, we recommend doing a deep clean of the surface followed by the application of a sealer. While we apply the initial sealant at the time of installation, reapplying sealer every 2-3 years will protect the color and reduce the chance of cracking during freeze/thaw cycles.
